12 min | color | 2k | stereo | 2014 | music video

Daily ritual in an older lady's life.

Film Festivals:  This film popped up at a few notable festivals such as New York No Limits Screening Series: The Wild Project, Palm Beach International Film Festival, Atlanta Underground Film Festival (Bronze Award – Music Video), YippieFest: Chicago, Fester: Mindf*ck Film Festival, Sound of Silent Film: Late Night, Arthouse Vienna (Distribution Deal), Image Union TV (Distribution, Career Retrospective)

Screening Note: This was inspired by being at a party and seeing my friend Arielle Giselle Rogers do a pole dancing performance. Arielle was incredible, and her dancing skills mixed with her burlesque creativity brought this film to life. Really wanted to lean into the grotesque and the surreal. I originally had a crew to help shoot this, but the snowpocalypse happened (or some Chicago snowstorm) and nobody could get anywhere. I trudged a half mile through the snow to Arielle's and we filmed it because the equipment I just happened to have for another shoot, needed to be returned the following day. The soundtrack is YAKUZA CLUB by M.U.L.E. aka Kaptain Kirk.
