A tribute to The Sea Wall in Georgetown, Guyana...

Film Festivals:  This film played at some notable festivals such as London International Documentary Festival, Brooklyn Film Festival, Mexico International Film Festival (Bronze Palm Award—Experimental), Athens International Film+Video Festival, and is preserved in the Guyana Library of Congress Archives.

Screening Note: Lived in Guyana for the first time, in 2009. I wanted to paint a picture of a place and people I loved very much. This was filmed for 5 straight days right before sunset to help capture silhouettes used in the multi-layered approach (up to 23 layers of video at once). Special shout out to the amazing and wonderful and all the things, Fabian Binns, who drove me around to film this. That dude is cool as cool can be.
