Screening Note:  This film is the brainchild of the director, Jethro Senger, who was a huge electronic music fan. We met on the set of feature film about vampires taking over the fashion industry to rule the world (seriously), when I first moved to Florida to work in film production and became fast friends. Anywho, I devoted 3 years of my life to this piece between the cinematography, writing and editing. This film was never officially released because the producers failed to negotiate the streaming rights (this was the early days of streaming) and after the great New York Times review and festival success, the musicians who had contracts for theatrical rights demanded a ton of money for streaming rights and the producers scuttled the project. Despite all that, I helped document the experience of an amazing music sub-culture, honed my skills as a filmmaker, was part of a really exciting project, went on many adventures, mets tons of cool people and started speaking to colleges and universities about this film...and this is when I fell in love with the idea of teaching because I loved the energy/enthusiasm of the students and thought I could be an effective educator. This film, in one way or another, really changed my life for the better.
